Defined by the concept of a bright grotto, the underground restroom in Guangzhou’s shopping centre has strips of greenery throughout the spotless white space, creating a clean and calming atmosphere. Plants are irrigated with greywater collected from the washbasins, and curved surfaces are made of recycled glass fibre reinforced gypsum to raise environmental awareness.
