"Yi Si" is a set of working table and bench inspired by the ancient study rooms of China. Its hexagonal design symbolizes "the six directions," representing harmony and entirety. The desk features a top that gracefully rests on the folded hexagonal legs, while the bench showcases a contrasting configuration. A streamlined wooden strip at the far end of the desk creates simple undulations, composing a sense of flow of every calligraphy brushstroke. Equipped with rattan cup holders on both sides, the furniture piece seamlessly blends classical elements with a modern lifestyle. Designed by O&O Studio and crafted by Radd, “Yi Si” exhibits the natural beauty of wood while embodying the Chinese concept that "wood generates fire." "Yi Si" signifies the year of 2025, marking the debut of this furniture set, which thoughtfully integrates tradition and modernity while reflecting rich cultural connotations.
