Crisscrossing time and space

I visit this gallery regularly to see other artists’ works. And my own photography has also been exhibited here.

The walls are different to the white walls of other galleries. At Blindspot, peeling layers of white and blue paint reveal traces of the premises’ previous industrial occupants, as if time had stopped right on those walls. Its hexagonal windows are full of character, and they bring the outside world right into the gallery, so there is strong chemistry between that world and the works of art exhibited here.

The visual arts should be discussed and explored alongside their context of time and society, and there is no better place than here, where stages and spaces are woven together.
