An art incubator

Kongkee is an animation and comic artist whose award-winning, crowdfunded, sci-fi animation Dragon’s Delusion follows the physical and spiritual train journey of a historic figure, and whose inspiration comes from everyday life in Hong Kong. Eighteen units in Foo Tak Building in Wanchai are rented to artists and non-profit organisations at below market rates through the generosity of a visionary landlord, and Kongkee attends talks, readings, screenings, performances and exhibitions there as well as using the independent, not-for-profit bookstore and enjoying the company of other artists.
